When setting up a webhook in Dripify and choosing the “Response” condition, it’s important to understand how this trigger behaves 💻
The webhook will always be triggered by the lead’s first response in a campaign. What happens next depends on how you manage the lead afterward:
If you leave the lead on pause and continue the conversation manually, additional responses from that lead will not trigger the webhook again.
If you resume the lead and they send another response later, the webhook will be triggered once more.
In short, the webhook works on the lead’s initial response, and then again only if the lead is resumed and replies again later.
