How to Organize Leads Using Tags in Dripify

Introducing Tags - a new way to organize your leads in Dripify. Tags help you organize, categorize, and segment your leads based on what matters most - interest level, priority, sales funnel stage, or follow-up status. They make your outreach smoother, faster, and more organized! 🙌

What Are Tags? #️⃣

Tags let you label leads with predefined categories. To help you get started, Dripify includes 10 default tags: Ghosted, Not interested, Interested, Meeting booked, Competitor, Partner, New lead, Customer, Low fit, High priority.

Moreover, you're not limited to these! Create and manage your own custom tags in SettingsLead Tagging section for complete flexibility.

Why use tags?

Tags make it easier to:

  • Keep leads organized by interest level, funnel stage, or urgency

  • Quickly filter and segment leads or conversations in campaigns and Inbox

  • Save time by instantly finding the contacts you want to focus on

NOTE: Adding tag actions in sequences isn’t available yet, but this enhancement is coming in future updates. Stay tuned!💡

Where can you add tags?

Use the "+ Add tag" button in several places across Dripify:

1. Lead List Views

Under each lead's name in the main Leads tab or any campaign-specific lead list.

Try to select multiple leads and apply any tags you need. Using a combination of tags helps you organise your leads more effectively and achieve better results.

2. Inbox

In the right-hand lead profile widget, when a conversation is selected.

3. Lead Profile Page

Inside the detailed lead view, just click "+ Add tag" to pick an existing tag or create a new one instantly.

How Tags Help in Real Scenarios ✍️

  • Organize leads for future campaigns

Add tags like "Interested for Later" to gather and retarget leads when the timing is right.

  • Track lead stages

Use default tags like "New Lead", "Meeting Booked", or "Opportunity", or create and apply custom tags to track each lead's progress. Apply tags to efficiently filter and group your leads for future use. By default, the filter displays the label “All tags”, but you can obtain the desired list of leads by selecting the relevant tag.

  • Prioritize your Inbox

Filter Inbox by tags like "Follow-Up Needed" to focus on conversations that need action.

NOTE: The Tags feature is available for the Advanced plan only.☝️

Keep your tagging system clean and simple

Create color-coded custom tags, edit existing ones, or delete unnecessary tags anytime in Settings.


Tips for Better Organization

  • Use color-coded tags for quick visual recognition

  • Create tags tailored to specific campaigns or audience segments

  • Review your tag list occasionally to avoid duplicates and keep things tidy
