How to Send InMails with Dripify

Discover a quick way to automatically send Sales Navigator InMails to users on LinkedIn.

As of July 2026, Dripify no longer supports the Basic LinkedIn InMail action. This decision was based on changes that LinkedIn made to the number of InMails that can be sent without a Premium subscription. To provide a more effective and scalable solution, Dripify now supports Sales Navigator InMails.

As a result of this change, existing campaigns that contain the InMail action will no longer send InMails, and leads reaching this step will fail on the InMail action. To resolve this, we recommend to stop your current campaigns and create new ones using Sales Navigator InMails.

What is Sales Navigator InMail?

Sales Navigator InMail is a new sequence action that allows you to send InMails through your LinkedIn Sales Navigator account. Unlike traditional LinkedIn messaging, Sales Navigator InMail can be sent to any LinkedIn member, including people outside your network and profiles that are not marked as Open Profiles. To use this action, you must have an active Sales Navigator contract connected to Dripify.

How to migrate to Sales Navigator InMail

  • Connect your Sales Navigator contract to Dripify. You can do so in the 'Account' section of the settings.

  • Create a new campaign from scratch adding a new Sales Navigator InMail action.

  • Review your sequence and launch the campaign.

How InMail credits work

LinkedIn provides every Sales Navigator user with a monthly allocation of InMail credits. Key points regarding this feature:

  • Sales Navigator accounts receive 50 new InMail credits each month.

  • Credits are only consumed when sending an InMail to a non-Open Profile. Sending an InMail to an Open Profile does not use a credit.

  • If a recipient replies to your InMail within 90 days, LinkedIn refunds the credit to your account.

  • Unused credits can accumulate over time. The maximum credit balance is 150 credits.

  • LinkedIn states that credits are renewed on the last day of each month.

The number of InMails you can send varies depending on your available credit balance, account activity, and recipient type.

Current limitations of this feature with Dripify

⚠️ Please note that at the moment, Dripify does not track replies to Sales Navigator InMails. Also, Sales Navigator InMail conversations are managed directly in your Sales Navigator inbox. This happens because Sales Navigator InMail conversations are stored in the Sales Navigator inbox rather than the standard LinkedIn messaging inbox.

Also, when you add a Sales Navigator InMail action to your sequence, Dripify automatically places an End of Sequence step after it. This helps ensure a clear and predictable workflow while we continue expanding the feature.

  • Step-level analytics

  • The ability to continue sequences after an InMail step
