How Dripify Handles Email Replies

When a lead replies to an email sent through your Dripify campaign, Dripify automatically pauses that lead across all active campaigns — so no further steps run until you're ready to continue.

⚠️ Please note: the feature is available for Outlook and Gmail providers only.

Before you start: update your email permissions

Dripify needs Read email permission to detect replies. Previously, only Send email permission was required.

If you haven't granted Read permission yet, email steps in your campaigns will be blocked until you reconnect your email account and update your email permissions.

To reconnect, go to Account Settings, click Connect email, and follow the instructions.

When completed, you'll see a confirmation: Your email account has been successfully connected to Dripify.

What happens when a reply is detected

When Dripify detects an email reply:

  • The lead is paused in all active campaigns

  • A note about the email reply is added to the activity log

  • You receive a notification in Dripify

From the notification, you can reply directly from your mailbox by clicking Reply via [[email protected]].

Resuming a lead

The Paused status is shown on the lead card. To continue the sequence for a paused lead, click Resume sequence on the lead card. Confirm in the pop-up and the lead's status will change from Paused to In progress across all campaigns — both active and inactive — the lead belongs to.

Filtering replied leads

To see all leads who have replied by email, go to Leads → General → Replied by Email.
